Wolman RainCoat clear water repellent (oil-based) is a premium performance, 100% clear, oil-based water repellent designed to protect wood against water damage and resist mildew. RainCoat clear water repellent is colorless and imparts a clear, oiled look, allowing the wood’s original color to show through and gray naturally from UV exposure. RainCoat is fortified with a mildewcide that resists mildew growth on the coating film. It works to prevent water penetration to minimize wood cracking and checking and to prevent major damage such as splitting and warping. RainCoat exceeds Federal requirements for water repellency and is recommended for immediate application to the new generation of pressure-treated lumber products.
