This weed killer plus lawn fertilizer controls over 50 listed lawn weeds, including clover, dandelion, plantain, morningglory, chicory, evening primrose and purslane. Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard fall weed and feed5 can be used on bahiagrass, Bermuda grass, bluegrass, centipedegrass, fescue, ryegrass or zoysiagrass. Apply on a calm day when weeds are actively growing and temperatures are consistently between 60 deg F and 90 deg F. Make sure your grass is wet from dew or watering, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the excellent results. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3-3/4 in. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 7-1/4 in. For Scotts Wizz spreader, use a setting of 4-1/4 in.
