- Apply Scotts ezMelt evenly onto the surface to be de-iced, avoid piling and do not over-apply
- Wait approximately 20 min after applying to give the formula time to loosen the ice, remove melted ice, snow and slush to prevent refreezing
- For better results, apply preventatively before or soon after snowfall begins to prevent excessive ice build-up
- If snow is deeper than 5 cm (2 in) plow or shovel surface before applying product
- Use when snow or ice is present in temperatures of -1 deg C down to -31 deg C
