Aluminum Z Bar creates a finished edge where stretch-in carpet meets another flooring type without the use of additional transition strips. Z Bar is used in conjunction with tack strip, with the tack strip installed directly on top of the Z bar. 4 ft Z Bar lengths match up ideally with standard 4 ft tack strip.
