Distribution Center
The Distribution Center is a 2 acre facility conveniently located of I95. The DC is where we do all our receiving and shipping of orders. The facility is staffed with people who have been trained to inspect every piece of wood before it gets to the shelf. We grade the graders! Shell Lumber demands only the cream of every grade of lumber that we stock. It may meet the standards of the lumber industry but our standards are higher. The DC ensures that our customers never have to pick through bad lumber to find the choice pieces.
The DC is also a fast easy place to pick up materials. If you are a contractor who doesn’t want to wade through the crowds in our retail facility you can call in your order to our Contract Sales Department and for a small fee we will pull it for you for pick up at the DC and help you load up when you get there. Credit card and In-House Charge customers can even go straight there and sign for their material without arranging payment beforehand.
